This approach to baby care, makes use of gentle movements, to assess and optimize how your newborn’s joints and muscles are moving. Your little one might become stuck during the last few weeks of pregnancy into a position that prevents the baby from moving the neck, back and limbs into more comfortable position, and this causes stress to your baby.

During the birth process a lot of strain is put on the baby’s tiny body and this can add further discomfort to your baby. This therapy is effective because it influences a lot of what makes your baby feel comfortable, happy and content. Releasing tension in your baby’s body will be beneficial for many conditions including sleeping patterns, colic, reflux, constipation and feeding issues.

Lymphatic Balancing

A fully functional lymphatic system is crucial for the body to prevent congestion of lymphatic fluid and filter out metabolic waste. If however injury or infection should happen, the proper circulation of the lymph becomes compromised and healthy blood is hindered from reaching the tissue cells. Cellular waste products accumulate in the tissues causing swelling and pain. Lymphatic Balancing techniques help to remove the accumulated waste and relieve congestion of lymph fluid in and around tissues. Lymphatic Balancing is beneficial in the treatment of accumulated fluid, fluid stagnation or lymphedema

Visceral Manipulation
Visceral Manipulation, has been developed by French Physiotherapist and Osteopath Jean Pierre Barral, D.O. and is organ specific fascial mobilization therapy. This means that organs are worked specifically in relation to their connective tissue and associated structures. For a body to be in good health, the viscera must move in harmony with the other organs and structures in the body.

Strains in the connective tissue of the organs can result from surgical scars, adhesions, illness, posture or injury. Tension patterns form through the fascial network deep within the body and become fixed points of restriction around which the body needs to move. That chronic irritation paves the way for disease, dysfunction and pain.

Studies found Visceral Manipulation beneficial for various disorders listed below and many more.

Lack of Vitality
Whiplash
Seatbelt Injuries
Digestive Disorders
Musculoskeletal Disorders
Pain Related to
Post-operative Scar Tissue
